Her Destiny is Change Page 15

After their initial nights of lovemaking, Zana found herself daydreaming of the evenings to come. She could not stop thinking of Jane’s lips as she drank her mid-day wine. At the end of one such day, when Zana’s thoughts were particularly sensual, Zana went to meet Jane as she was leaving the Doshii. The evening was falling and the mist was beginning to thicken. Jane’s thoughts were still lingering at work and then she saw Zana. Jane was transformed from the serious, responsibility-laden Senshii into a happy and playful lover. She challenged Zana to a race and they both broke out into a fast jog…

Jane was so happy, running through the night with Zana. She ran and as she did, she would glance every now and then to her side and see Zana running, her long grey hair glowing in the moonlight and trailing behind her long-limbed body…Jane was aware of her desire…The heat she felt was not just from the run. It was clearly radiating from her own hot body. She thought that she would have an orgasm right there running beside Zana. The heat of the run, the heat of her desire, and the sight and smell of Zana’s body, running so close to hers, was making her dizzy with desire…and wanting. She could not believe what she was feeling. She could not believe the experience. Not only was her body literally craving this woman, the very presence of this woman was enough to give her the ultimate in pleasure.

*** When they reached the yurt, they were both in a whirl of desire. The run had fueled their hunger for each other and they were nearly out of their minds with need. They barely succeeded in pulling off their own clothing and in unison fell onto the mat still partially clothed. They felt each other’s desire hot between their bodies and came together in bursts of moaning and not so quiet healthy shouts of joy.

Zana could feel that Jane’s desire was not yet quiet. She kissed Jane’s lips and then slowly her mouth wandered…She took Jane’s breasts and placed gentle kisses on and around her breasts, all the while stroking her body with her hands and pressing herself into Jane’s hot and imploring body. Jane moaned quietly…

Jane reached down for Zana’s temple — but Zana pushed her hand away. She wanted Jane to enjoy and not have any escape from her own desire and pleasure… Zana was not a healer now — she was an artist of pleasure…and she wanted with intense desire to give Jane ultimate pleasure.

As Zana kissed her breasts and stroked her body, Jane moaned and her body rose to meet Zana’s. She took Jane and laid her back on the mat, placing her thigh heavily in the lips of her wet mound…Again Jane moaned, this time a guttural note, slightly high in pitch. She smiled to herself as she continued to explore Jane’s body and feel her wetness

increase…Zana’s hands, mouth and tongue were truly those of an artist. She gently caressed Jane’s nipples with her lips, licking and painting pure pleasure for her Love. She licked and wet her nipples slowly and with a gentleness that left Jane moaning and wanting, no, needing more and more…her licking and caressing were methodical in motion and she could feel Jane’s anticipation — her desire mounting and the swelling — all of her sensitivities swelling; all of her wanting pulsing, hotter and hotter — throbbing with a desire that she didn’t even know could exist, throbbing with a desire that was in itself the purest longing she had ever felt, making her yearning a need that only her Love could

expose…Her lips continued, painting and stroking the nipples into hard desire that needed release… and then when they were painfully hard, took one into her mouth while stroking the areole of the other. Jane’s moan became louder and longer as Zana slid her thigh back and forth in between the wetness below. This response excited Zana and her own heated desire fed the fire in her own clit — but she focused on Jane and went from one nipple to the other, licking and stroking, licking and

stroking…long hot strokes bringing a rising pleasure and desire…licking and stroking slowly and decisively as Jane’s moans became louder and louder until Zana was quite sure that Jane was no longer the woman in control…Zana loved women’s bodies’ and she loved giving pleasure as much as receiving pleasure. She loved that women could orgasm from their nipples, almost with the same intensity as their clit…She loved being the one to do that to another…making Jane come with her newly found orgasmic nipples was…well, there is nothing quite as much of a turn on as a nipple orgasm... the ultimate foreplay. Slowly she licked her way down…slowly and with more than a little distraction. Jane’s moans were quite loud now…and it was all that Zana could do to focus on her own tongue as it gently drew pictures of love on her skin, as she licked her way down to Jane’s hotter lips…Her lips below were moist and thick. Zana gently parted them with both her hands and buried her face within. Her tongue found Jane’s clit and her fingers glided in finding the place of ultimate fire. Jane’s moaning became almost operatic…deep and long and louder still. While Zana’s tongue trailed the shape of infinity on Jane’s clit, her hands reached up and cupped Jane’s bum, gently squeezing and caressing…She looked up over the mound and saw Jane’s pleasure…Jane held her own breasts in her hands and stroked her hard nipples…Zana was so excited by her Love’s pleasure she could feel herself wet the mat. Zana took Jane’s clit in her mouth and then tracing Jane’s name with the tip of her tongue, all the while her finger teasing the inner fire, she sucked her so very swollen clit as Jane sang her finally coming warmly in her mouth…

Jane was spent and more than a little surprised. She could not remember ever feeling such an intense physical pleasure and intimacy with another being. Zana, who had watched and felt Jane’s pleasure, wanted more…She laid down aside the exhausted Jane and took her nipple in her mouth while reaching down to her own wet mound. Jane was intrigued. She had absolutely no energy left — and yet, here was her Love, loving her even more. Zana’s tongue was now a magical musical instrument that brought song from Jane’s throat. As Zana touched herself, Jane came again and both were finally satisfied.

They were both so worn out by the time they finished they fell into a blissful sleep, half dressed and wrapped in each other’s arms.

When they woke in the morning with the sun and the birds, they smiled and hugged, remembering their night. Both of these women were so happy, so relieved to feel this happy and content …to feel so at home, finally at home in each other’s arms and with each other’s body and soul. They both knew that after all of their years alone they would be together, wherever they each were.

*** When the weekend came around, Jane had decided she had to take Zana to meet her best and oldest friends, Kay and Dally. Jane had mentioned to Kay that she would like to come around on their day off and that she may be bringing someone along. Kay was so excited she found it difficult to not respond with shouts of joy. Both Dally Blyth and Kay King Junior, actually all of Jane’s friends and

acquaintances — from the Judoshii-Juniors to those she taught in her morning classes and those she worked with, that is to say, everybody who knew Jane Double D or of Jane Double D — knew about her new relationship with Zana. Jane, however, was oblivious to the stir that she and Zana had caused, just as she had been oblivious to the worry and planning her friends had done on her behalf before she met Zana.

It was even more interesting for all of these friends and acquaintances to observe that Jane was so captivated and entranced by Zana, she didn’t even notice that people would stop and watch the couple as they walked by…Some of the women were so taken in by the impressive couple that they could not stop themselves from staring as they came into view. This strong couple, both physically stunning, now sent a ring of fire and passion from their bodies. Their pairing and love produced a tangible and visible light to these women whose lives had depended on their ability to sense their surroundings.

*** If Jane was oblivious, Zana was exactly the opposite. Zana had grown accustomed to her quiet and rather secluded lifestyle. She was not used to being seen by so many strangers. She was definitely not used to having so much attention paid to her presence. Zana’s presence was usually acknowledged in a quiet and subtle manner. People would greet her wi
th a respectfully bowed head, understanding that her gifts of healing came with a certain sensitivity that deserved respect and even a small amount of distance. All of this sudden attention and focus was at first very uncomfortable to Zana. Although she exuded strength, she was instinctively private. It had not been by chance that she had chosen to live on the outskirts of life. If it wasn’t for the fact that Jane Double D seemed most unaffected by the dedication of the women who would stare as they walked by, Zana would have turned around and fled, but Jane’s adoration was so deep, Zana just continued to look into Jane’s eyes, to talk and listen to her words and her breath. This distracted Zana and comforted her from her feelings of vulnerability in this new environment — Jane’s environment — and Zana came to feel that Jane was her own wonderful harbor.

When they finally reached Dally Blyth and Kay King Junior’s apartment, Zana was enormously relieved. Even if she had to endure the scrutiny of these two very prominent and strong women, at least she wasn’t being stared at by every woman who passed them on the road.

  The Four

And so it was that Kay King Junior and Dally Blyth and Jane Double D and Zana became a wonderful friendship of four. While they spent most of their days off almost exclusively with their respective loves, they always made time for the four of them to get together.

The first few meetings were awkward. Zana was clearly uncomfortable with all the attention she had been receiving at Jane Double D’s side. Dally and Kay had decided that they would try to give Zana space. They were so excited that their friend had finally found her partner, and they wanted to do everything they could to help that partnership flourish. They understood, and they had heard that Zana was an extremely shy, private person. As a matter of fact, they had been under the impression that she was a recluse and were initially quite surprised at her partnering with Jane. They had discussed their friend’s decision and had agreed that they would make a major attempt to not be the overbearing women that they knew they were. Despite this decision, they practically smothered Zana with their good-natured questioning and jostling. Zana, for her part, held her own. While she did find Jane’s friends intimidating, she was undeniably a strong person in her own right. Zana knew her own value. Zana knew who she was…and it was because of this self-knowledge that she was able to accept Jane’s friends prodding and prying. As they grew to understand and know each other, they grew to trust and depend on each other’s ability to listen and counsel.

By this time this type of a relationship was no longer unique in the Realm. As the women had left their old families and way of life behind, many began to find new souls to bond with. And so, the inner strength of the Realm grew and the women, as a People, flourished.

*** That first evening the four of them sat around the fire, drinking wine and eating, the awkward silences didn’t last long. Zana’s feeling of being prodded was not altogether unjustified.

Dally and Kay could not stop themselves. They were also captivated by Zana; her spirit was warm and encompassing and they could see she loved their friend Jane with great passion. Zana’s love for Jane was so strong that even Dally and Kay could feel it as it emanated from her being…It was like a warm glow that enveloped the room with an electric sparkle of light and acceptance.

Dally, in her never-ending quest to better the situation of the inhabitants of the Realm, began to wonder if this gift of Zana’s was something that could be taught and learned. She imagined the Realm populated by a people who could emanate that warm glow of acceptance, shared with their fellow inhabitants. What a wonderful peace that would be! How strong and loving would our world become! Just what the women and their children needed, a kind of environmental hug of acceptance.

The women wanted to hear all about Zana’s life here and in the Wideness. While Zana was perfectly willing to talk about her farming and her healing, she was reticent to speak about the Wideness. Like many of the women in the Realm, the Wideness was a part of a past that did not need to be in their present. While she was not ashamed of her experiences and the circumstances that led to the life she led in the Wideness, she did not want to be judged by her past — for better or for worse — and she did not want to be known or defined in her current life by where she had come from and what she had been. As far as Zana was concerned, the present was all that mattered. The life that they led today, those they helped today, those they taught today and those they touched today was the true measure of their being. She politely (more politely than she would have been, had these not been her Love’s best friends) steered their questions to the present and only hinted at her past, her father, her interest in what she was able to learn from him — these were the questions she was willing to answer without great detail, in short concise sentences. Her present, now that was her true self. She knew that she was put in the Realm to serve the women who needed her. She understood that all that she was able to learn in the Wideness was solely for the purpose of her life’s work in the Realm of the Women’s Forward Movement.

This desire and her ability to refocus on the present, to allow her strength of conviction of the importance of their present life in the Realm to direct the conversation was thought a testament to Zana’s stunning strength of character. Her self-confidence and her certainty of her purpose in the Realm endeared Zana to Jane and her friends even more. She was definitely in like company. Each of these women believed — knew in absolute terms — that their role in the Realm was their destiny, their true purpose and the reason they had been born in the first place.

*** Kay was especially impressed. Something about Zana reminded her of her own childhood, growing up in an educated, but not wealthy family. Kay always thought that it was the undereducated, the weaker and otherwise oppressed men and women, who believed in the submissiveness of women. She had believed that the men who believed in their superiority were lacking information, perhaps even lacking the intelligence to understand equality. When she was married off to the ideal husband, wealthy, educated and intelligent, she soon learned just how wrong she had been. Even now, living and loving with Dally and their new family, Kay had not been willing — or able — to discuss her past. It was as though it had all been erased once they left the Wideness. She had almost convinced herself that it hadn’t happened, that it was all some awful dream that haunted her otherwise peaceful life.

And now there was Zana, the woman who would not discuss her life before the Split, the woman who was living here and now. Kay was drawn to this exceptional spirit. She wanted to talk with her, to tell her the awful secret things that had happened. For reasons she could not understand, Kay felt herself open up to Zana.

It was during one of their early evenings together, all four of the women sitting around a fire, when Kay began to tell her story. Up until that moment, even Dally had no idea of the suffering her love had been through. Like Dally, Kay had been married and had children. They were, after all, living under the same roof — one of many Multies in the Realm. But Kay’s life in the Wideness was a darkness that no one had known.

Kay’s husband, the successful and very rich man she had lived with all those years, the man whose words carried so much influence in the Echelon, Kay’s husband was as cruel as any one being could be. Under their house was a soundproof room. He’d take Kay down there late in the night, after the children were safely and heavily sleeping. The children were never to know. No one was ever to know. Even Kay, after the passing of so many moons and seasons, could barely let herself know out loud. Kay’s words came out quietly. This was not the Kay of the Realm who was speaking. It was the Kay of the Wideness. It was the Kay whose existence had been hidden from light for so long.

*** There was always a young girl. In that dark room, there was always a young girl, frightened and waiting. Kay could never see — or remember — what they looked like. It was dark, the walls and floor were streaked with red and brown. The mattress in the corner seemed to always have a new sheet covering the stinky, moldy smell. He would give commands and
we’d follow his orders. Throughout the torturous night, I would try to console the girl. I tried to tell her it would soon be over, she would be well compensated for her service and be able to go home, soon. And then the girl would be gone. My husband always said that he had returned them. I couldn’t think about them during the day. I had to for the sake of my family, the children. I never could let myself say the words out loud. If I had said something, I would have died. ***

The women sat and listened. Dally tried to hold Kay close, but Kay was distant. Zana took Kay’s hands. Kay lifted her face and their eyes met, held together. Zana’s connection to the Powers of All Around was0 now clearly in evidence. A calm filled the room and the women. Kay’s body relaxed and she fell asleep, right there in front of the fire, in Dally’s arms.

*** Now Dally Blyth and Jane Double D

understood. It was, after all, Kay King Junior who had first assembled the Templits and given meaning to hearing the sound and voice of the women. It was Kay King Junior who had given voice to everyone in the Realm. Now they were all together, the Realm of the Womeness created and secure.

Finally, Zana had found Kay King Junior.

Now Destiny had a voice, and the voice was of Kay King Junior and the women of the Realm.
